Weaving and plant dyeing workshop
Beginners can learn hand weaving silk thread and plant dyeing using Kiryu silk fabrics. First-timers can hand weave a stole and plant dye it in one day to take home.

Handwoven with silk thread
Even beginners can weave a silk stole in one day. We use a flamingo loom that allows you to weave the warp threads easily.
Duration: 3-4 hours 10:00-15:30

Weaving thread cost 2,000 yen per 100g + studio fee 2,000 yen + membership fee 500 yen * Membership fee is only for the first time
Plant-dyed silk fabrics
You can dye one or two silk stoles woven in Kiryu, a city famous for its textiles, using your favorite plant dyes.
*Time required: Approximately 2 hours *Up to 4 people at a time
●Cost: Material cost (silk stole) + dye cost + studio fee 1,500 yen

We accept students and tour groups. We will arrange classes according to the content you want to learn and the number of people, so please feel free to contact us.
